Hey BFFs! We recently celebrated our 5th birthday and we’re SO grateful to be where we are today. It’s all thanks to you wonderful gals and guys! We’re super excited to make these 3 BIG announcements today - we're lowering our prices, grinding chuck in-house, and cutting down on plastic!

Big Changes For Our 5th Birthday: Lower Prices, Grinding Our Own Meat In-House, and Cutting Down On Plastic

Hey BFFs! We recently celebrated our 5th birthday and we’re SO grateful to be where we are today. It’s all thanks to you wonderful gals and guys! We’re super excited to make these 3 BIG announcements today:

We’re lowering our prices!

Over the years we’ve always stuck to high quality ingredients and making burgers n’ fries the hard way. That usually tends to lead to things being more expensive especially when using fresh, high quality products. It was a very challenging year for us and many businesses because of costs going up in an incredibly short amount of time...but you can’t bitch and complain can ya?

We’ve spent a better part of the year tackling our costs by renegotiating all of our pricing with our suppliers (having the purchasing power of 3 restaurants now helps LOL), we’ve cut out unnecessary bells and whistles, we’ve revamped and optimized our cooking processes, recipes, hours of operations and sourcing, and we’ve done whatever it takes to save a lil bit of dough.

We feel it was only right to pass along these savings to our BFFs. We’re always lurking online and listening to you. We know a common complaint has been concerning our pricing, so we really made it a priority this year and are proud to say that we are slashing a majority of our menu by as much as 10%.

 

We’re grinding our own halal sustainable chuck in house.

The other big online complaint we are addressing is the quality and consistency of our meat. Grinding our own meat in house is actually cheaper (not paying butchers for the labour of grinding), allows for much better control of the end product, and it means we know exactly what is going into our patties - federally graded chuck (shoulder). Our new patties are awesome. The quality of the meat reduces shrinkage and inconsistencies that were experienced with previous ground beef, and the cost savings have allowed us to pass the savings onto you guys - our BFFs!

 

We’re cutting down on plastic.

Speaking of sustainability, we’re doing as many things as possible to help the environment including getting rid of plastic - starting this fall. Bye bye plastic straws, plastic bags, and plastic cutlery. We’ll be replacing these all with paper straws, paper bags, and biodegradable cutlery.

 

We hope to continue growing and getting better every year. We’re so excited for what the next 5 years brings and we’re excited to continue slinging crazy burgers n’ fries!
